As announced today by the Chancellor, a £1.25 billion support package will be issued to companies driving innovation in the UK. This support package is in response to the Coronavirus crisis. From the £1.25 billion announced, £750 million will go directly to research and development (R&D) for SMEs. This funding will come in the form of grants and loans.
Braithwaite is welcomed and excited by the news of an increase in R&D for companies within the UK. We will continue to monitor the situation in the UK and provide up-to-date information on the ever-changing world of R&D due to the Coronavirus.
